Hi, does anyone know how I can improve the performance of the reports rendered with the report viewer for large datasets? I have a remote report that depending on the parameters passed can sometimes return a large number of rows. For example the screenshot below comes back fairly quickly, but when I click the '+' to expand the details it takes almost 3 minutes and when it finally does expand scrolling down through the rows is very painful.
How can I improve the performance? The report is remote and again depending on the date range selected and other parameters I could get back over 10.000 rows that need to be rendered and scrolled down through.
